Two-Headed Mosquito

Looming around outside to find the spot-                             10

Lil’ skeeter aiming with long probing legs-                             10

On giving flesh, blood dripping down your snout-              10

And leave an itching bump in exchange.                                10

But you’re no ordinary blood sucker.                                       10

Awkwardly large, simply caught-held in hand.                     10

Squirming like a worm drying after storms.                           10

Forget escape, your life already limp.                                      10

What’s this! Two heads! It’s a monster! A Freak!                10

Does anyone love a mosquito? No!                                          10

Two heads make it a doubly hated beast.                              10

And with two heads it sees the hate twice look,                  10

And twice pick, and twice pinch, and twice snicker.           10

All the while underneath the tense pressure                       10

Of the thumbnail and palm, it is crushed-                              10

Crippled, Stripped, Detached. Without feeling.                   10
