I was hospitalized 11 years ago

I was first hospitalized around 11 years ago for the first time. It was on Christmas day, 2013. Since then, I have been hospitalized 12-15 times (its hard to keep track.)

But the first time, I wrote in a journal. I still had left over juice from when I was in college and I couldn’t sleep. I wrote mostly poetry.

I thought that journal had been destroyed (like all my old writing.) But…I was so happy to see it show up in an old dresser. I thought it was gone!

And what did I find? 112 haikus (along with some other poems) that told a story of my entire ordeal. Its so sad that just three weeks ago I had a similar experience as if it is just continuing over and over.
