The Lynx King (Just notes i had leftover)
Cast
names: proper given name, family name (can be different depending on whether mothers or fathers name is dominant.) sometimes people have longer names depending on culture and ancestor worship. In Kiota’s case, Ovnk is the patriarch’s name and comes first, even though his real name is just Nekoita Royoha….or Filidi) some people go to retarded lengths to show their genealogy that it becomes a joke. The main characters all have two names, each with its own backstory. don’t need to explain Kiota.
The star continent (and only continent in the world, is known as Doralan, but also called earth, the world and so on. But Dormalan is specifically the continent madeup of lthe terrain and...well, I have to figure that out eventually

Magic is spelled Magik, also known as the type of magic it is such as alchemy, Magik comes in many forms and is either lower or higher magik depending on where the power comes from. Lower and higher magik have similarities in effect but may have different ways of performing. Certain things are forbidden in higher magik, but still possible to perform.
The stewards of Lushina
and the endless description that will never make it into the book
the stewards of lushina are 7 (formerly five but it makes sense that it would be six) humans who watch over the island for the New Gods, the Shimeru. The Shimeru are no longer around however and the island is basically a eden-like paradise. The stewards are basically servants from old families who were always servants. They belonged to the highest class of servants (Shimeru servants, royal servants, serfs, slaves etc) and were give one of the best jobs for any humans, to be in charge of the upkeep of Lushina.
During the Golden Age and at the heights of Shimeru domain, the Shimeru created many stewards, guardians, entourage, and other social classes (basically normal humans who worked for the Shiny Ones and were given certain powers and privileges). The Order of Star Gazers is the official church of Shimeru. The caste system within the Order is made of different classes and titles, a hierarchy starting at the lowly levels of workers all the way up to the Shimeru themselves. Only the highest classes directly spoke to the Shiny Ones (Priests, nuns, Bishops, rooks, idk the orders yet need to work on that.) that comes later anyway
anyway, before I get ahead of myself, the Stewards are a class within the Star Gazers chosen to take care of the island (than the home of the Shimeru) Lushina. Lushina is a magical island that does not obey the laws of Dormalan, it is a mythical island where normal humans and Demke’s are forbidden to enter without consent from Shimeru
Going back to the stewards, the history is something but I won’t be talking too much about the history so why bother writing it down?
The important thing to note is that the island of Lushina is almost deserted now, for the Shimeru have departed and took with them the retinue of there most beloved people with them back to the stars. What is left is seven stewards who have lived on the island for the past (500? maybe to long? Ii haven’t figured out the time spans yet.) with free range realizing that the Shimeru really did leave. Shimeru powers can still be tapped but their powers have diminished and continue to diminish the farther they get from the earth. But this is beside the point right now.
The Shimeru afforded the stewards certain privileges while also curtailing others. For instance, they allowed them to eat some of the fruits that grew there, such as the amberapples and tinsletoe, while forbidding them from eating others. They restricted their diets for there own protection, as some of the goodies that grew were too much for humans to handle and could cause a brain meltdown (the Fig of Knowledge (Logiafig) could increase the intelligence, memory, and thinking capability of some humans, but eat one too many and your brain would literally melt.) than there were the merrymaking flora. Some were okay when diluted down 100ds of times, but at full strength, the faculties of a normal human would become completely replaced by a monstrous Hungary Ghost (term for addiction in this world.) (of course, when the Shimeru left the stewards most of them anyway did not follow the rules...and the consequences are stated quite clear.
The flora of Lushina was such that it increased the lifespan of normal human life. A human who ate Amberapples could live forever if they never stopped eating them on a daily basis and weren’t killed by other means. The lifespan could go on and so it did for the stewards.
But there was a caveat for the stewards. They were chosen but by no means forced for the job because they would not be able to procreate or even have a family. As soon as they were employed, the Shimeru (Flave?) removed the seeds and eggs of the men and women forever. It was an irreversible spell, once done never could be undone. The shimeru were not so cruel to remove sexual enjoyment from their lives by no means, they merely wished to curtail any possible children being born by union with the steward. The claim was for them to be fully charged with there task, they should not have families to weigh them down. But the truth was more terrestrial. The Shimeru enjoyed beauty and when they decided to take on physical forms they became sexual addicts and would have sex so often with everything they deemed beautiful including the stewards that they chose almost based purely on whether or not they were attractive. In essence, the original stewards were more like sexual playthings to the New Gods and, since they were fertile, they reproduced a race of Ashemahura’s causing what would eventually turn out to be the first world war.
The New Gods eventually realized the folly of their promiscuity, and created ways to stop the influx of new offsprings that could rightly overthrow them if they became so powerful. This is why the stewards were made sterile and even chosen to be unattractive. (but how would people even know this? Is this something I can put in the story? Its kind of crazy. But the shallowness of the Shiny Ones is something I want to be made clear for they are not GOOD or EVIL, the story is gray and must remain gray. And its alright to make the Shiny Ones awful in some ways as they are also aliens from another world altogether. Having sex with animals is a taboo to humans (even if the hybrids were created that way...so yeah) but to the Shiny Ones its not.
Horace is the first steward I mentioned and I think his personality can stay. Horace still takes his job seriously and keeps the island clean. The one thing I should change is to not make him the drug addict. He is sober and the nicest of the stewards, the most liked by Koita. Almost like a weird father figure who doesnt’ really give him the best advice.
Another Steward acts like a sheriff….Asher...sure Asher is his name. Asher is basically a man who thinks he’s tough because he is physically strong and has awesome armor and a sword that he even names, but is a shit fighter. His personality is that of a narcissistic leader and, for all intents and purposes, has become leader of the island. He is not a bad person, just kind of a jerk.
A woman (Ananda) who is tall, palewhite, with white hair and purple eyes. She cocnsiders herself a (witch? What do you call a good witch or should they be different? i’ll just call good witches Freya’s) a Freya witch and claims to write in the sacred language. She does fortunetelling, simple tricks, and creates charms, but she is a charlatan when it comes to actually using Magik. Her acuity is that of a normal person and does things normal people can do with a little preparation. She is still a hit among her peers with her fortunes, as they are so convoluted and simple at the same time that anything could be deduced. She considers herself a Prophet, which is sacrilegious since Prophets are one of a kind holy people ordained by the Shimeru themselves. A false Prophet, within the old religions, carries a penalty of immolation. Yet, she is completely free to do as she pleases as the new religions and the Shimeru themselves have gone away and the old ways are gaining strength.
The fourth steward is another lady.
Than there is the three lotus eaters. The last three stewards, another two men and a women, are lotus eaters. The flora on the island consists of the most sacred plants and trees in all of Dormalan. In fact, most of the plants only exist on Lushina. The fruits, nuts, vegitables are all based on mythical foods. They grow in abundance to the point of, when an amberapple is plucked, the next day it will grow back full, meaning there is never a lack of food. Not only that, the foods on the island were meant to be consumed by the Shimeru and Ashemahura’s, not by normal people. Most have a strong narcotic effect on the normal creatures (Kiato is an exception because, well, you know why).
The most addicting and pleasure inducing plant in all of the Moon Isle is the Blue Lotus Flowers that grown in the muds near the runoff of (Denanan) River. They are beautiful flowers that grow, but the lotus eaters pluck them up and rip off their flower heads. Then they take the roots and, using some meager skills, crush and dry until they make a substance of a light blue color. At first, they would drink the powder with some Green or White tea in modest consumption, but, being utterly consumed by the power of the plant, they now inhale the powder through their nostrils.
The lotus eaters, as they are called now for they have forgotten their own names, are ragged scrawny people, if you can call them that, who live and sleep in the mud. In the morning, before they can even think of performing the chore of grinding the roots, they just eat their full of the lotus flowers while they are still submersed, gnashing and moaning and itching. Only when they cure their hunger pains, pains that must be horrid, only than they have some semblance of there old selves early in the day. But instead of performing their duties, they sit on the muddy banks ripping the plants up, grinding the roots, and inhaling the contents. They do this over and over and over until the day is up. They have lost their noses completely, now just giant holes in there faces and, if you could talk to them as they rarely talk at all, you would have to guess they no longer can smell or taste anything.
The lotus eaters.Nymphaea caerulea Cerulean Lotus. Other lotus plants in the rest of Domorlan are also narcotics like poppy, but no where near the strength of the Cerulean Lotus.
There are three women on the island
The land of plenty, that’s what she called it. I never understood what plenty meant.
“you know, we are given by the Blessed Shiny Ones, we don’t cultivate or hunt, the land grows and gives to us. It is the island of plenty.”
but what was plenty? I was hungry I went to the amber apple tree and plucked an apple and munched it down. The next day, the leaf would hang low again with a fresh plump apple. Or I would go out to the densely canopied rouge oak and I would pick in the shady grove to gather the white umbrella mushrooms that grow at the base and picking red oak softshell nuts into my sack. I would use the screw and drill a hole into the bark of the tree and gather the glowing sap into a vile. Right there and then without waiting to get back to Nanny Marble’s cottage I would start a fire of the lesser flame, chop up the ingredients and cook slowly while stirring and adding a little spice from my pouch, I scarf it up.
The next day there are the same mushrooms, the same amount of acorns, and no hole in the tree...is this plenty? I mean I counted the acorns and mushrooms and there were 14 nuts on the floor and five mushrooms.

LAWS OF MAGIC
Sorcerer is the proper term for a magic user, both men and women.
Manipulation using spirit through hand movements, runes, and voice. Advanced sorcerers can achieve same results with just thoughts instead of physical actions making them hidden. Blood magic requires payment in blood of user or other (most blood magic is inherently evil and forbidden).
OK, so it seems Manipulation is the word. Everything is based on Manipulation of something, through various means ie prayers, spells, commands, force, entreaties, luck, ingredients, creation….its all a matter of MANIPULATION.
Another important thing! The more advanced skills require greater sacrifice (but what kind of sacrifice?) ok so some magic is dangerous cause it can literally take all the spirit from the user. Only advanced sorcerers know their limits. Blood magic is forbidden, but sacrifices can be used by evil sorcerers
another thing, there is no black and white magic, no evil or good magic. The user is good or evil based on there actions. Devils and angels do not exist, humans are the monsters, always.
Metal and wood (plants?) elements? Well obviously@!
Telepathy
Teleportation (? too easy)
Telekinesis is redundant since all magic comes from the mind and Force manipulation ie movement is fundamental to every sorcerer. The body is the first thing to control, than the manipulation of objects. Advanced force manipulation is transformation of items (conservation of matter however ie can only change cannot create) technically this is telekinesis but the word is redundant, stick with manipulation (or a cool synonym...OR YOUR OWN WORDmmmmmm)
Types of sorcerers are based on what they do. Alchemists, Potionmakers, Possessors, Elemental affinity (pyro, hydro, airro, terro), Necromancy (forbidden), Blood magic (mostly forbidden),
The three principles are movement, command, and control, the twin pillars of knowledge is static and dynamic?????idk
advanced Sorcerery requires a lot of reading and knowledge! If done wrong, can backfire in a big way
there is alteration and movement (Force magic), transfiguration (advance Force magic)
than Alchemy and Potion making, requires little Spirit but a lot of rules and exactitude (boring magic)
Than Elementals. Elementals are spirits of the elements. Most people have a natural affinity toward certain elements, usually based on there birth date. There are a massive amount of Elemental spirits in the world and need to be conjured using certain spells. Some spirits are minor, weak, and easy to control. Than there are the Master Spirits which contain a lot of power but require a lot of spirit and affinity. If the spirit does not agree with your spell (prayer?), it can consume you and cause havoc. An armature sorcerer won’t even be able to summon big spirits, they simply will be ignored. Elemental spirits have personalities and names, each one unique….LIKE POKEMON!...ok no
Animal magic (Animancy), White magic (Benedictions, or miracles), Chaos magic?idk, Illusion (obviously),
Conjuration (ability to conjure something, but at a price), Sensory magic (self explanatory)
Emotion enhanced magic? Emotional manipulation, Light manipulation? (illusions duh), Light and Dark Spirits? (nah, no black and white shit)
Transmutation (transfiguration? Just manipulation of matter! Call it whatever)
THE MAGICIANS CANCER
Witches and Warlocks are Sorcerers who have transformed by the Black Cancer. Women hide in the shadows and eat dirt. Sometimes they steal children for ritualistic sacrifices. They have almost no magical power and can be killed by normal means. Sometimes they are confused with ghosts and are also known as Snatchers. Men become Warlocks. Like witches they may try to procreate. But Warlocks become consumed by another urge, cannabilism. The Dark Cancer makes them think consuming the flesh of strong humans they also consume their power and souls. Because of this, they may be confused with serial killers and vampires.
Inquisitors, Wizards of the Grand Church, a neutral body of sorcerers who monitored magic activities, were investigators like detectives and had certain powers to find Abominations. If any sorcerer was caught pregnant or impregnating another, they would be hunted killed. they had a whole system of taboos with most punishments ending up a public burning, drowning, and the worst was burial of the living, where the sorcerer was entombed in a small space while they were still living.
Another sacrifice a sorcerer must make. A sorcerer had normal lustful ambitions, both male and female, but every competent sorcerer who learned the basics could easily control sterility and fertility within their bodies. Body manipulation was the easiest magic to learn.
No child ever born from a sorcerer either from procreating with a normal woman or a man is normal. And two sorcerers can create powerful monstrosities. For a woman, the sudden urge to procreate is a surefire sign she is on the verge of the Madness. Alphons predicted she had maybe half a year before she was overtaken by the dark cancer that invades a sorcerer’s brain after consuming too much Spiritus. So….he got up and left her.
The Sorcerer’s Madness is a progressive type of disease which would eventually envelop the mind of a sorcerer with an evil inclination creating a change in the very impulses of the brain. It is also known as the Demonic Cancer. It was said a sorcerer had three births. The first was their actual birth, the second was after drinking the Potion of Lucidity, and the third was when (or if) they would live long enough to be overtaken by the Madness.
It affects men and women differently. Women become hysterical nymphomaniacs proclaiming that they will birth the “Child Prince fortold by the ancient Y’rden’s, who shall live forever.” Unfortunately, the child will be a monster depending on the type of sorcerer birthed it, it could be a Minotaur, cyclops, serpent-naga, Medusa-head, and other various creatures. If the sorcerer births her “Prince,” she than becomes sterile and becomes a (Witch is the deragatory term for a woman sorcerer who becomes mad)

Minor characters on the island and explanation
The other inhabitants of the island: retinue of the Shiny Ones and the last custodians. There are five stewards, three men and two woman all middle aged and unattractive. They are all hundreds of years old, actually being the last of the stewards chosen by the SO themselves. But after the Shiny One’s departed, their behavior has become completely decadent and over the top. They all come from the old kingdom “sacred” families said to be offsprings of the Shimeru. However, they did not show divinity. The activation of the divine gene is anomalous and seems random and since they departed, the amount of divine aspects within humans has diminished. The age of heroes is done. But, even though they are not activated, they still have the potential to pass on the powers to their offspring. (need better way to describe this since genes are nonexistent.
Unfortunately, it is a prerequisite for the Shimeru to make the stewards (need better name) of the island incapable of reproduction and sterile but not without sexual urges. In fact,, they cannot reproduce so they have sex merely for pleasure (the scene in the forest is typical). Having the stewards sterile is a long standing tradition with an actual reason, at some point in the past the children of the Shimeru were sprouting up everywhere and became quite powerful semdivine entities known as Ashemahura, the sons and daughters of Shimeru and human offspring. That was the first world war, fought between the children of Shimeru. The dustriction of these wars were horrible. (okay this is out of place as I am only trying to define these characters who won’t even be in the story for long.)
The languages
The Vulger language- the modern language spoken throughout the land, based on the very simple alphabet I created, also known as Remish, basically normal English.
Remin- the old language spoken by the old kingdoms, first language spoken by humans. There are regional variants, but its basically a similar tongue, just like the Romance languages are all based on Latin. The Vulger language is a modernization of this older dead language. (obviously an example of a real world language, Latin, and it is even jokingly similar in almost all aspects. Remus was Romulus’s brother.) the Remish writing system is basically basic latinate languages with other earth languages like german and japanese mixed in.
The Sacred language- the specific way of talking to the Shiny One’s. Used in magic that uses the SO as a wellspring. Language of light-a continuous fluid cursive-like series of squiggly lines. Has an extensive series of modifiers as straight marks but is only a few characters. Is prefix driven, each prefix is meant for a different SO. The language is a second person only language as it is used to speak directly to the SO, and is full of reverences ie. “oh mighty one” “oh shiny one” “oh Cera of the blue lace” and other such silliness. Is made up of consanants followed by vowels, spoken fluidly without punctuation; Always starts with a consonant and ends in a vowel.
Has actual practical applications as a form of magical language as it literally gives people certain powers directly communed to them by the SO’s.
The Forked Tongue- the language used to communicate with the Damkes and how Damkes communicate. By humans, used primarily in the Dark Magic arts. The Forked Tongues is basically a form of speaking in tongues, it has no actual language but is a chaotic alternating form of gibberish to those who hear it. A person must be in a form of trance to speak it and only those who understand it can. It isn’t what is spoken that matters, but the intention and within that intention lies the meaning, not the actual words. Written in a hieroglyphic way, once again showing visual intentions rather than a form of language. Has hundreds of characters, mostly of animals and human movements, such as a man praying or a woman weeping (men have dicks and woman do not). If the intention of the writing is understood by a Damke than they will be in a covenant.
Haruspex, augur
Ogham, runes, triads
fiid, poets
bile- sacred trees oak ash misetoe
druids: propets, judges, poets
Changes
don’t overcomplicate things with names or what a thing is (ahura, demon, angel, dievon, it doesn’t really matter) nobody needs to know the origins unless its pertinent.
Transmutation-the main type of magik used, any form of transformation is known as transmutation. Alchemy is a subset of transmutation specifically changing metals into other metals.
Higher, Median, and Lower Flame is called breathes instead
Invasion and Possession are the two ways Damke can create bodies. Invasion is basically full possession by replacing the body’s true spirit and changing the nature of the body; this is done by the powerful Damkes. Possession is when a Damke takes over a body and than has sex with another body creating a child that becomes the Damke’s; this is done by the weaker Damkes, and results in some weird hybrids. (new thought: a Damke possession blends the soul of the possessed and the Damke’s lower breath creating a new entity as opposed to replacing the soul. A person has to be willing to do this in a pact. Damke’s can possess without permision but is only temporary and can be excorsiced by many means.
Damkes are changeable and are not singular entities further making them different from SO, which are unchangeable (including their names). Once a Damkes body is destroyed, they basically have to be reborn or re incarnated into a new body, essentially creating another entity altogether. This makes them closer to humans and normal creatures.
The SO’s try to become changeable after being influenced in what they saw as a more interesting way of living within the abyss. They were jealous and tried to create simalcra bodies by lowering their divinity by using “crowns,” items that they wore on their anthropomorphic heads to bring the “lower.” without the crowns, they could not even come onto earth as they would instantly incinerate other humans (which they had to learn the hard way.) because of this they created the crowns, another reason why they are known as Halos.
The SO’s basically pretended to be like the lower Breathes. They could not procreate with themselves iike other mythic gods (and neither did they want to since...that’s incest...but they tried anyway). When creating offspring with humans and other animals (yes they had sex with other animals, they didn’t really see a difference because they were basically aliens experimenting) they were basically playing roulette. Some were semidivine hero-like characters with superpowers, and others turned into monsters or were just plain weird (like a human made of eyes or a human who could turn into soap or creatures that would spontaneously combust into fire or air or water (actually thought to be a disease (actually they were diseases created by this process...i’m not sure yet)))) Other races of people are the result of their mayhem sex escapades. Another important thing is the possibility for the “divine” aspect to be recessive, meaning sometimes they created normal offspring, but the offspring of the offspring of the offspring would be “special.” this is why they weren’t all destroyed during the purges, some were just normal humans with a recessive divine gene (idk about genes but basically this worlds version of genes anyway).
Damkes is the name for the demons, as Anashura or ashura is a semidivine offspring of a SO and human.
In this world, hybrid creatures are a direct result from inter-species consummation, and is played for laughs (also for horror...but mostly laughs).
Koita wants to be a writer that’s why he writes journals and trance journals. He loves the books that he grew up with and wants to write like the fairy-tales, but thinks they are true. He writes the journals because he thinks that is how other books were written, true to life and about the people in them. He has very little concept of what writing is and story and is a poor writer. But he shares this ability and hobby with his first friend, Chester, which is how they get close in the beginning. Writing is a rare art and is a skill many people don’t have. Koita writes in normal remish (which is actually the language of the ancients) and Chester writes in modern symbology, however Koita and Chester know how to read the others language for differing reasons; Koita was a natural at languages and was taught all the known ones by his mother and Chester had a lot of time to learn by being a jester and later a scribe. After drinking the Elixir he furthers his knowledge. Chester is not gifted and was an orphan, he learned the hard way.
Animals no longer have the same status as humans and are closely related to Damke’s. Humans were originally in four forms, humans, lizard humans, bird humans, and fish humans (all have there own names but are all humans.) however, normal humans have almost completely killed off the other humans in wars, except for the fish humans who live mostly in the ocean in underwater bubbles. They cannot breathe underwater like fish, but can hold their breathe for hours. They mostly have there own communities in the ocean and make it difficult for normal humans to travel by ship. Sailing is very much downplayed since its all one
there are still bird and lizard humans but they are nearly extinct. A new female character who is a lizard girl (action girl) an assassin merc.
Just like normal humans have vestigial hair, the other humans have vestigial forms of hair in place of hair ie lizard humans have patches of scales and weird eyes and cannot control body temp as good, bird people have tufts of feathers (thin feathers of a lot of colors) as hair and vistigial wing bones they cannot fly and also sharp teeth that look like tiny yellow beaks, fish people of vistigial gills and webbed hands and feet but they actually help them swim and breath underwater the fish people are the most removed from the rest of the world and have their own culture that is alien to other humans; the most different aspect of each human that is easy to see is by their teeth, humans have normal teeth, lizards have fanged teeth, fish have sharp cartilage teeth like sharks, and birds have yellow sharp beaks for teeth. Other than a few differences, all humans look like normal humans and the majority of humans are normal, as the fish people live away from the earth driven communities and the lizard and bird people are almost extinct. The four different humans are not hybrids, they are independent species. There is a large amount of racism toward other humans (main racial aspect of the story.) .Aviman, izziman, meriman, and human.

Alchemy
Alchemy requires no magic affinity, it is a scientific type process that requires exact requirements, preperations, calculations, and process.
Turning lesser metals into gold: Requirements 93(roughly) percent of lead, 3 percent gold catalyst, 1 percent tungsten, blood (of virgins? Make it creepy), pure distilled water, some form of yellow flowers, and a magical process of some sort that is hidden. As a result, lead becomes a rarity when the mice create way too much gold. Tungsten was always rare, but the Felidi had oodles of it since they used it to make greater armor and weapons. When they get the alchemists, they create even greater metals that are used primarily for war since they do not care about money. Pluton is an example of the type of metal they create.
Elixir of life: requires 100 living human bodies, a cauldron big enough, certain spices, and a slow cooking process (living bodies must be alive for the slow boiling until the spell is uttered (takes at least 10 hours of live cooking)) than a distillation process and 100 years of maturation. (an awful, horrible process that is one of the worst things any being can perform and is thought to be a lost art which makes it so rare it is almost a fable potion.)
potion making is a lesser alchemy art, but the stronger potions can only be created by great alchemists. Drugs are made by potion makers, such as alcohol.
other potions: love potion, steroid potion,
skin color
skin color and facial features are seemingly random. In this world there is no racial humans, humans are the dominant race but not the only one. The way a person looks changes drastically form when they are born to when they mature. When born, they reclaim their parents appearance almost like clones, but as there spirit develops they change. Color doesn’t mean a thing and normal facial features attributed to race in our world have no bearing.
Groups of people or cultures exist, but not based how they look but where they live and what they do. This is very important. Family too exists, but is not a dominant feature of this story as the world has moved on, human status is rather low and people get by in whatever way they can which usually means they resort to more evil acts and form groups that resemble gangs or cults. There are exceptions to this rule and are even “colorists” who believe a persons color and look determines who they are. Within families, a white man and woman can have a black child and to colorists, they will disown their child because they think it means something when it does not. Also, groups of like looking people forming basically believing the same thing. But I have to make it clear at some point in the beginning that appearance means nothing other than how a person looks, not who or what they are.
There is also an element of reincarnation. Maybe, reincarnated people retain their former appearance while newly formed souls are malleable. If the child looks like their parents, they are new souls. If they don’t than they are reincarnations. < ---- this
even reincarnated people have to mature and only when they are fully grown can they reclaim any former ownership of a prior self, but essentially reincarnated people lose their former selves and are reborn even though they retain the same or similar appearance.
( should a form of photography exist? Or some form of art dedicated to capturing a person image that is easily affordable and mass producible (as an artist would be for the upper classes only).
Actually the Damkes prohibit the visual arts and representation because of the reincarnated kings and to disallow former reincarnations to take up old names and identities)
Ghosts
orbs or whisps? Hitodama are reincarnated souls looking for a body.
Rat King
The Rat king is a puppet king ruled by the mice, ants, and chickens. Unlike the Lynx King’s monarchy and the Wolfen King’s Tyranny, the Rat Kingdom is a combination of lesser powerful city-states working through other means to influence the world. The Rat King is just a puppet, the true rulers are money hungry mice who broker information, products, propaganda… they made a blood pack with the Ant Queen and Chicken King and were undermining the powerful Lynx and Wolfen Kingdoms with an army of Mirmadons (disposable ant warriors) and the Chicken King’s powerful Alchemists.
Prior to story, the Rat Kingdom along with the Ant King and the Chicken King were Annihilated by the Lynx King and Wolfen King inadvertently working together by different means. The Rat Kingdom’s City States (Ruled really by the mice) was overtaken by the two waring kingdom’s and split up. During the beginning of the story, the Canis and Filides Kingdoms are waring, but the Lynx King is winning.
One way the Rat kingdom was able to disrupt the other kingdoms was by using Alchemy to transform iron into gold. This eventually over-saturated the market with gold and made iron rare and expensive. Since the Mouse Bourgeoisie was greedy for their cheese, they horded the gold. When the war heated up and both the Lynx and Wolfen King were pincering them, they had to resort to making armor made out of gold for their Myrmadon legions. The Lynx and Wolfen warriors cut through their weak gold armor like it was butter and their gold weapons were litterally melting in their hands during battle. It turned into a joke at some point and the Lynx King’s sons routed out all the mice, tortured them, found out about the Chicken king and his alchemists and the location of the Ant Queen. Than they were systematically murdered in due order. Their alchemists were stolen or even switched sides and instead of being used for greedy reasons, they were used to create weapons one being Pluton, a metal that enhances the wearers strength and ability but eventually makes them sick and die, a tradeoff.
At the start of the story, gold is worthless and is considered kitschy, gaudy, and even low-class. Koata has bags of gold, still thinking it is used as currency.
The Wolfen
The Wolfen Queen Sallina, known as the She-Wolf Queen or even the Queen Bitch. A beautiful women who is basically a whore...ok that’s a little harsh. She wishes to make the biggest litter possible. Her true form is a giant Gray Werewolf that causes normal men to piss themselves. She has children with multiple partners than has them eaten by her other children. She has a litter in the hundreds of a large variety of dogs and wolves (not foxes.) they are all morphs, basically Werewolves but of many different breeds. She is a complete despot and wishes only for her babies to rule the world. She has her partners killed primarily so she could remain a single Queen with absolutely no challenger. Her children fear her almost as much as others do. She is known to kill her own children with her own hands if they are disobedient or fuck up in some way.
Her capital is formed of only Werewolves (called something else? Lycans? The Lupine? Whatever stick with werewolves for now. She is archenemies to Basamet. Humans side with the Filidi because they are the less of two evils and the Lynx king doesn’t want to exterminate or use them as food. He simply wants to rule over them as an absolute monarch. This is the eventual downfall to the Wolfen, as humans are still the dominant sentient race of peoples. Sallina’s downfall is directly attributed to her brutality, as her bloodlust is uncontrollable.

Neb Lula Lan
Eris Araman-chaos Megarchon most powerful demon and characterin the world but wants the chaos of life to unfold and watch with glee. Is a sadist/masachist, cannot be killed. Looks like a human but is actually a MegaArcho Araman of the Quabuzz, the most powerful of all the Archons. Actual appearance is of a handsome man with five wings, two vulture wing, two scarab wings, and a single Dove wing on his left flank. Can fly without the wings, but the vulture wings allow to fly and look cool while doing it. They are on top and appear as black feathears on his shoulders when they are not used. When unleased, the black feathers can be turned into arms, plucked and turned to swords.
His scarab wings compose his black shiny suit and is impenetrable. He can cause an insect swarm through his sleeves, all types of insects from flys to butterflies. If they open, he becomes nude...which is pretty underwhelming (and by that I mean he has no genitals or butt...he is actually sexless). The Scarab wings are his suit when dormant, when unleashed they are shelllike, like two shields. He can unleash both pairs of wiings, which makes him both offensively (the arms and sword feathers) and defensively (his beetle shell shields) unmovable and basically an overpowered one man army. (Ahura of Death, Devon of Life)
His dove wing can heal almost anything and reverse enthropy, aging, wounds, rust, almost anything. His dove wing is a white angelic wing appearing in the center of his spine. He can move this wing around to almost every part of his body. When dormant, it appears as a white (tie? Ascot? Idk yet)
He has a five wing form, his true form, looks more like an angelic being than a deVon, fire in his eyes, a nude pristine body twice the size of a human.
But most of the time his wings are dormant and he walks around in a black featherish suit with a silver tie. His suit is one of a kind and an anomaly within the world, so although he looks like a dapper Al Capone gangster to us, his suit looks good to people but they see it as a useless, not utilitarian custom made piece. Somethng a rich man would wear, but not a noble, more like a rich merchant. (merchant of Death)
he becomes the last member and his identity is hidden from all except Blaken and Lula. For a character who ought to be the most evil, he acts the least. he’s cocky, softspoken, handsome, and appears weak as a fighter but rarely fights. When fucked with, he usually makes his opponent look like a untrained yancy or he just pretends to get his ass whipped (he does this to hide his true identity)
I think he should be the one who rescues Lula after from the Lynx King. And he should be tche first person Kaito meets instead of Chester. (in fact, change the beginning so that Araman mejets him at the shore and he meets Chester later under different circumstances. He becomes his first companion until he meets Chester, than Araman disappears for a while. He never stays in the party for a long time and comes and goes as he pleases (like Gandalf did in the Hobit). He is kind of a plot mover, and seems to be the one making all of this happen (but this must not seeem obvious at first to the reader. Its only by “chance” that he meets his companions one by one, but is actually Araman directing this to happen. In fact, after Kaito meets Chester, Araman disappears and Chester does not see him. Araman only reappears when all his companions are gathered. This is because Chester and Blaken know or think they know his true nature.) meets Kaito in dreams or away from the other party members. Although he is obviously someone who is important to the story (the mover) his actual true nature as the Prima Megarch is not known until much later on. Chester assumes he’s an Ahura, Blaken thinks he is a Archon, like Basamet and Licht, but does not know which one.
His motives are simple, to create the story. His actual patronage is to Bards and mythmakers and is ccofused to be an Ahura or even a Shiny One by the bards. He is not good or evil and Ahura’s and Devons are not “good” and “evil” they have their own personalities and motives like humans.
In fact, after Human’s were created, it was the devons and ahuras that emmulated them and not the other way around. So that the natures of the Devons and Ahuras were abstract and alien, more primal and divine. But when humans were created, the Gods wanted to learn from them, so they mimicced them and took on natures and personalities and started to intefere with humans. The gods were fascinated by sex and reproduction, since neither were “born” in the same matter. Human reproduction is between “two” genders. Love is something they could not understand The Devon’s had sex and reproduced but not through love or sexual intercourse. The “genders” of the Devon’s were different in nature than the likes of humans.
ideas
The b9 iStarts as a fairy tale fantasy young adult novel about a young sheltered boy who lives on a magical island, the former isle of the gods. (his mother gets killed? Or disappears? Or is her whereabouts unknown? Killing her would serve as the first death the pro sees and it is his mother so it will be profound...kind of the perfect setup for the shift of tone the story will take. But wouldn’t it be better if she was frozen instead, propelling him to leave the island in the first place without it being about revenge or a necessary thing? His journey begin entering the “real world” in search of a way to reverse the spell. But how could she be frozen if the spell only works on normal humans and creatures? His divinity must come from her, making her divine or semidivine…
the only reasonable way to do that is to introduce the recessive divinity genealogy, skipping generations, which is something that is going to be part of the story. But having her killed is more powerful...but if she is frozen she is kind of dead or can represent death. I mean being a crystal statue is something like being dead unless it can be reversed.
Okay its obvious.

The genders of the Devon’s was bisexual (in the literal sense of the word.) they were both “female and male” at the same time but that doesn’t apply in the same sense of the humans. In essence, the Devon’s could create Dark Matter bodies in two ways, buy invasion (male sense) and pregnating (female sense). Invasion means the Lesser Flame of the Devon invades matter and forms a body. Pregnating means it can reproduce a body using other bodies creating hybrid offspring in which they can invade. Male and female has no sense within the world of the Devon’s prior to humans. Afterward, they used similar means to reproduce with humans, but took also gender like humans, so that the Devon’s could produce bodies in both ways even if they were “male” or “Female”. The best example is Bastamet. Bastamet is a “male” demon not by nature. When he leaves the abyss without a body, he invades a human man’s body and became male. He changed the matter of the man and its nature just as the nature of the man changed his nature. Bastamet is a Morph, his demonic nature was of the mammal and of the Feline. (the SO immated the natures of Dark Matter into forms already known within the matter ie all animals have a demonic origin in their nature but normal creatures only have the median flame. They are immitaations of preexisting matter forms of the Abyss.) So, Bastamet possessed a man and mixed his Lower flame and the man’s median flame. The median flame was absorbed as Bastamet is a top tier Devon. Bastamet can assume the image of the man, but can also morph into his Feline aspect, known as the Lynx.
Bastamet than began impregnating women and created offspring. His offspring became hybrid spirits, possessing half of the Lower Flame and half of the mother’s flame (which was of the Median Flame). They are not creature hybrids (half of one animal and half of another) they are spirit hybrids (have Devon and half Median). They took on the morph trait of their father and can take on human form and animal (in this case feline) form, they can also become Humanlike Felines (body of a human and head of a Feline). What feline they bacame was based on their mother’s traits. All children of the Lynx king were born to different women for two reasons, the lynx king wanted to create poweful hybrids and could only do so by finding suitable human women to impregnate. Bastamet did not love, his ambitions were that of domination, so he wanted an army. He never took on a single wife, but has hundreds of wives.
The other reason his children are all bastards is because their births killed their mothers. Some ripping through their wombs, other women could not handle the semen oof the Lynx king (there is one exception of course) most woman could not even become pregnant because they were too weak and sex would literally kill them. Many others killed themselves before bearing monster children. Because of all this, only 12 children were born in 500 years.
names?
(old)He thinks he knows enough of the world from the books but is completely unaware of the harsh reality that the world is severely screwed up. His parents are actually his grandparents and he only finds out about his mother at the beginning of the story. A witch comes to the island, a secret agent of the Lynx King, prefessing to be looking for the chosen one. She quickly realizes he is the 13th because of his yellow eyes and after examining his body and seeing he has a scar on his back wear his tail was cut off. She quickly brands him with the symbol representing the unlucky number 13 on his hand. The constable becomes aware of her true intentions and they try to destroy her, but instead she freezes the entire town and herself in crystal glass (by accident, it seems the island had a protection spell left over from the time of the gods that would freeze any mortals who tried any funny business. The freeze spell can only be undone by the gods themselves), all except Neko who is somehow immune to the magic curse. Unsure if his grandparents and the town can be saved, he is forced to leave his paradise and enter the real world, branded in the most unlucky number, 13. and perhaps he will make an attempt to overthrow the Lynx King while he’s at it…his childhood dream.
Ira-silent giant who wears a helmet. Has gauntlets with spikes and a giant warhammer which casually hangs on his back that he rarely uses, preferring to fight with his fist. (rethink guantlets and warhammer, as how would Merlot carry these items in his other form?)
Wears no additional armor and never speaks (grunts and curses, and has a loincloth). Wears a necklace of large corked fangs filled with unknown liquids. (drugs)
Tim Merlot- Ira’s alter ego when he takes off his magical Berserker helmet which grants him his muscles, strenght, and rage. Without it, he reverts back to his true self, a worthless coward afraid of his own shadow and a unrepentant alcoholic and drug addict. Has no family name, Merlot is just a nickname people gave him because of his drinking habit and the subsequent redness it causes to his face. He is not liked and most people prefer his quiet violent alter ego Ira, who is feared by almost all mortal men.
Chester Young-a 1000 year old baby faced teenager who drank the elixir of youth by accident, intending to sell it instead for a mountain of gold. So far, it was the only known elixir ever found and was said to be left by the gods before they abandoned the world. Chester acts like a teenager even though he may be the oldest human currently living. A consummate joker and storyteller, he finds joy and mirth even in a harsh unforgiving world. Has absolutely no shame and loves to use nicknames.
Mace Calavara- a witchdoctor from the land of the Undead. The Calavara are a sect of Undead people who are not mindless zombies or skeletons, but retain there mind and knowledge since there brains are preserved. The land of the Undead is a cursed land where the dead are reanimated once they are buried in the earth. Most become mindless drones known as Zombies, others come back as literal skeletons, and others come back as halfhumans, with lost memories but personalities intact. There are variable levels of decomposition and dehumanization. People in the land of the Undead can perserve the flesh through certain processes. The king of the realm of the Undead is known simply as the Boney King and has legions of undead soldiers.
Mace is well versed in matters of the Spirit world and the Abyss and in hidden knowledge that is not found in any books. Those who die and come back are gifted with certain powers. The Calavara order of Witchdocters are thought to be an evil order, capable of cursing and summoning demons, however they are intelligent and have independent ambitions. Mace is on a mission to find 13, a myth and prophecy that would change the world, although his motives are unclear.
January Vecuri- a human who could change its sex at will, either as a beautiful woman or man. Is pansexual and concerned with only one thing, sex. Changes her/his sex on whim depending on who she/he wishes to suduce. It is unsure whether she started as a a female or male, but is introduced as a female and is referred to as a female. Is enamored with Chester young and they have a history. Chester refers to there relationship as “the only great trick someone was able to play on me,” nicknames her Trick. Has some form of “Dorian Gray” mark on her/his body, depicting his/her true age. (a portrait on her ankle/ or a wrinkle spot or even bone since she is so old. Or a number. She always wears a stocking on her left leg to cover it up even when she is having sexual intercourse, it is her “black spot”.)
The Prophet Doll
The cloud cookoolander character is a small girl with a semidivine spriti. Her ability of prophesy is 100%, but her mind is completely jumbled, partially due to the magic that binds her spriit to the body of a child (no less than 10), her mind outshines the capacity of her brain. How does she bind her spirit to the body? Well, she is the (th) reincarnation of a reoccuring prophet (know simply as The Prophet) from ancient times. Knowing that females were better prophets and children before puberty are even stronger prophets, the Lynx King killed the (100th?) incarnation of The Prophet (an actual Ahura), and with the help of necromancy and Vihina (possibly Blaken himself) her spirit is bound into the animated doll made of actual human living tissue. (child frankenstein, an abomination, a clone, an android?, a robot? But with the spirit of The Prophet) The Dark Ritual was successful but created an unruly, precocious child who talked mostly in nonsense (or what appeared to be nonsense). But, when she had a clear vision (happened rarely on the full moon) the prophesy was always 100% accurate, with hundreds under her belt. She makes the prophesy that drives the story and the Lynx King (along with anyone in the know) believes in it making him paranoid. Unfortunatly, the scribe who wrote it down, wrote it down wrong and only after his 13th child was born did the mistake get corrected (the scribe was Chester? That might be funny. If its not Chester or a minor character at least, the man gets a fate worse than death.)

Fantasy story: myths vs actual fantasy reality
creating myth as myth and as actual recordings of what happened. There is gonna be a clear distinction between what are mythic (higher art) stories and what actual is was and will be. This can be defined within the story’s narratives in books and religions as opposed to actual witnesses and soothsayers (through necromancy mostly)
witchdoctor (? racist title?) Blaken Calavara, undead living brain of practitioners of Necromancy and regression and communing. Although a Witchdoctor and practiotioner of Dark Magic, he is part of the main party and helps Kouta fullfill his role (for personal reasons of course). But nonetheless, he is a good/bad character. This is true of all the characters in some sense except for Kouta who is actually good, but has a separate self called Umbra who is evil.
Immortal and Ageist deconstructions
All character are in some sense immortal or incapable of dying and some have lived for many years for many different reasons. Carmine may be the opposite of this, he is actually younger than everyone but looks older because of his sloth, addictions, and just plain bad habits. Also, the Berserker Helmet drains his body when he uses it.
The Moon Pool Reflection
The moon is an island and the light in the sky is a reflection of its light. It is like a rainbow, it is visible in the sky but is just an illusion. The island moves around the earth and creates phases based on (what?)? The location of the island is unknown and invisible to normal people and creatures and never stays in one place, circling the earth. The isle is imbued with magic from the SO, things that don’t exist in the real world. In a way, the isle is not a part of the world and doesn’t function in the same way. It is like paradise in the Bible (obviously). Many magical charms exist including safeguards against threats against the SO and the isle’s inhabitants. The crystal freeze spell becomes activated when a witch attempts to cast dark magic on the island, basically freezing everyone who is not divine or semidivine or a demon. This renders normal humans and creatures to become frozen crystal that is nigh indestructible sparing them from harm, but also rendering them in a frozen stasis. (why doesn’t this affect the pro? Cause he is semidivine obvious, but maybe another reason?)
new- the moon isle moves around the earths ocean and is absent only until it passes by the six mountains of the star. Each moon has four fazes each. The crescent, the eye, the whole and the reverse crescent. Each mountain creates a different face and color based on the star it is reflecting. The smiling moon, the angry moon, the melancholy moon, the praying moon, the fertile sexy moon, the stark moon, the. 30 divided by 6 is five, moves from blank, crescent, eye, full, reverse crescent, blank and into the next faze, so that months correlate to our time. A year is 12 cycles of six each faze (30) equaling 360, also close to our time. The seasons are 3 months months long and can vary or are set in stone (not sure yet). Full moons are when certain things happen and blank moons are the opposite, where demons gain strength. People do not travel and stay indoors during the blank days, known as...something. The wilderness during blank nights is fucking crazy. Houses, other dwellings, and cities have power to keep most at bay. Light and fire keeps the wilderness at bay. There is a hearth fire and some form of Ahura that serves as protection. Holy cities are completely safe from demons because they have a special fire that never dies, called the heart of Luz.
The moon isle reflection appears in the center of the sky as the placeholder of Luz and the other stars are clearly seen as orbs of light. The close to full the moon is the stronger the stars light. The blank moon creates complete night, the stars are nonexistent.
In this world, the sun is not identified with Luz and is not actually a star. The sun is an immitation of a star that serves as a prison of light holding Quabuzz. It rises and sets like our sun, going back into the abyss at night. The sun is not worshipped by followers of the SO, it is actually worshiped by the followers of HA since it is actually the Quabuzz prison and will one day break open like an egg releasing him.
The sun’s immitation light is slowly burning up and was once white, but now is turning red, currently it is yellow like our sun. also, the sun is slowly coming closer to the earth, outside of the orbit. This is having a profound effect on the environment and climate.
The sun does not have life giving properties and therefore is very different from out sun, it is merely a giant ball of light and fire that creates day. Since plants and insects don’t have the same purpose and biology as in our world, they actually do not get anything from the sun’s light. Actually, since the sun is imitation starlight, it does have similar properties and does help plants grow but by a different means...i don’t know...not exactly sure….
Okay, seeds work in a similar way as in our world, but flowers are very different. So cultivation works similarly, but flowers do not. Other things make plants grow (maybe bugs as fertilizer...certian bugs). Plants react to HF just as bugs react to the LF. Creature spirit is a combination of both and can vacillate from being L or H.
(need to understand spirit and how that works :/)
Cosmology
flat earth surrounded by ocean held together by the chained Trithan. Undergrond upside down mountain going down like a triangle englessly into the abyss. The world is a plate between the abyss and the sun. the upside down mountain starts in the center of the world at the Sealing Gates, the entrance to the underworld. The SO (not named yet) in charge of the dead spirits and the demons escaping creating a great magic seal. The descending parymid-like mountain is made of levels for the differing underworlds, the bottom most being the Chained seal guarding the Old Ones from reentering the world. This does not completely keep demons from the world, but the stronger the Demon the more gravity chains hold it within the endless depths.
the boney king of nowhere
Arhon of Quabuzz, known as Boney King or Skeleton Knight(night, interchangeable) King, rules over the deadlands colloqually known as the ironic Greenwood, the lands around the Abyssal Seal. Has all his Kentarchs, one being the Psychopomp Stryx, one being the skeleton of an actual Giant(no known Giants left alive) with the preserved brain of a dog called Crossbones, one is living Nightshade, one is living Ice. and one is a Vampire Drake(human vampire hybrid) (actually the king of Vampyres obviously, the progenitor)
The land of the dead has different natural laws than the rest of the world. Spirits of the Median Flame ie creature and human spirits can reanimate corpses of the dead, from the freshly dead to skeletons, from embalmed preserved humans to rotting Boars. There are different types of undead (of course). Blaken of the Calavara have perfectly preserved brains, also known as the witchdoctors and are stores of ancient knowledge (not mythic but actual).
The bony king has the largest army in the world but only of the of undead, they are more skeletons than any other and can be overpowered quite easily. But they cannot die or if they die the “hungry ghosts” (spirits of the Median Flame that are still attacheed to the human world and don’t go to the underworld and there are a lot of these types of ghosts) can just possess another corpse. Most are dumb zombies and can only follow simple order (however some have so little brain matter they act like idiots). However, the laws of the Greenwood are different than the rest of the world meaning his army is perpetually forbidden to leave or they would just stop working. Nobody fucks with the boney king but the Boney king cannot fuck with anybody.
Stryx guides the willing souls through the greenwood into the underworld, as the laws forbid the Boney king to interfere with willing spirits who wish to move on. The seal is a oneway gate, Stryx is the only one capable of moving back and forth.
The Boney King is a lich knight (actual name Licht) a skeleton within a suit of black iron armor and wields Frosty a giant great sword made of living Ice. Although the one of the most morbid and fearful character, is actually a funny guy (I mean he has a Giant’s Skeleton that he plays fech with). After the Shiny Ones left, Cera, in a fit of anger, struck the seal gate creating a crack and left the underworld unattended. Stryx, one of the only Demons on good terms with the new gods, had to replace the Underworld Gaurdian SO Cera, who became the most dissilusioned of the SO, and found the Archon Licht and released his captains. Licht took on the duty of the guardian of the Seal Gate (that was the deal made with Stryx) and became the Boney King. The lightning strike that cracked the Seal was filled in with Ice but not before many demons escaped, the strongest of which would become the Lynx King. Licht has always been an advesary to Bastamet and was overwhelmed when he escaped from the Seal. He helps Nekaito out of hatred of his sheer hate of Bastamet. He is actually not an advesary of the SO or life, but fills a necessary role as the Guardian. And once again, he is not a serious character, its like a game to him.
(further investigation of the complex of the underworld will take many pages)
Only the Calavara can think on par of a normal human and not only that, they are essentially immortal and some are as old as the beginning. (Mace in old version) Blaken is not the oldest, actually the youngest and newest member even though he is actually hundreds of years old. Blaken is given the ability to leave the greenwood without unanimating by Stryx and with the orders of the Boney King. Although he is the youngest, his body is continually decomposing and he smells like dead flesh and maggots. Once a week he has to embalm himself, especially his brain, and smells a little better (like chemicals) but gets worse as the week progresses. Nobody knows or even sees him when he does the embalming ritual and it can be assumed to be very gross and weird. Idk but I think he is a black character, even though that may seem a little racist. But I think it can work if it can be seen to be a dark comedy fantasy as opposed to being a racial stereotype. Ironically, the actual color of his skin is stark white after embalming and turns gray as he rots, but he is obviously racially black. Also, his brain is exposed (his skull has been removed and relaced by a stone replica, but gives him a stoic, hard appearance which goes along with his character) but wears a black top hat to cover it up. He carries his actual skull in his great big sack...for some reason (probably because he has to have his Calava (skull) to be a Calavera and also as a placeholder for his brain when he does the embalming obvioiusly)

Virti the Fallen One
green is the color the shiny ones used for plant life as a homage to Virti the fallen one
Virti was the strongest of the shiny ones but impetuous and challenged the gods of Chaos in a single battle and as a result, burned most of his fuel, leaving a husk of embers and ash before succumbing to death. From his ashes, mixing with clay, the Luna, the moon was created as the island for the SO as it orbits outside the world. Also, mixed with dirt, water, air, fire they created plantlife, an homage to Virdi and there best attempt at created the color and vibrance of the Empyream light beams. And as a final insult to the Old Ones, plants attract insects to spread their spores and altered the nature of the Beasties, creating new beautiful variations.
After Virdi raged against the Horns of Discord and the old hegomony, the SO stood at a distance gleefully expecting a complete victory. But the Old Ones would be utterly deestroye,d by the green light of Virdi’s lances, they would be reborn from the matter, reconstitute there substance and regenerate their strenght in a display unbelievable and awe inspiring from the eternal SO. But the horns ccould not be destroyed no matter how much heavenly fire they felt against their skin. Virdi went on a rampage, obliterating all the Archons and lesser Demons, to focus his attacks on the Horns.
For 9 weeks he fought, holding back his brothers, “these vile creatures are nothing to the Ones” he would shout. He was burning his flames at full heat and exhausted his attack and Quabuzz, the five-horned lord of Abyss, struck at Virdi and pierced his heart with his full brow Horn. Verde impaled, grabbed at Buzz and subsumed his fires to such heat and power he broke his main horn off which created the Quahorn Montian.
Seeing there brother, stunned, the SO rushed in and recovered his still breathing body. He was burnng his final gas as his body turned to red ember. Indgi held her brother at bay far from the bead of Chaos

Nebulan character
Giana Nebulan was her given name, but she is simply known as the Prophet. She escapes somehow during the story and becomes a part of the main cast.
Of course Chester...but I know his story.
Cosmology
flat earth surrounded by ocean held together by the chained Trithan.
Blaken is not the oldest, actually the youngest and newest member even though he is actually hundreds of years old. Idk but I think he is a black character, even though that may seem a little racist. the massacre of Vri Tower- 3 years before the birth of Kiota. Yud Flambasta is thought to have been killed by committing suicide but actually changes his name and his allegiance to the Lynx King. Now works as a dark Wizard, one of Vahina’s Order of Freya. Is weak and can’t do shit, but basically gets by by whatever means.
Time officially starts as the Age Of The New Dawn -ND
1 ND lasted for 500 years
New Dawn lasts until the first age of humans comes to being and the SO’s still live outside the atmosphere on an actual moon-like island.
1 GA is the new Age of Men, the first Age of men-the entire world is green and thriving, the Demke are almost not existent on Dormalan and Human’s eat only flora, which, just like on Lushina, replenishes itself without cultivation. The Golden Age is always summer and represents an innocent age. Golden Age humans become a different subspecies of actual humans and are different in certain aspects. Their souls are sent to the stars as the underworld is only meant for the Demke. Oh, and there is no such thing as death by natural causes (no diseases and old age)
The GA ends when Humans overpopulate the earth. The SO’s change the laws slightly to make things more interesting and send most of the Golden Age Humans to the stars to live in the Empyrean. The few GA humans who stay on earth become the fabled reincarnated kings, good and holy kings who are reincarnated when they die and continue their reigns. The reincarnatable soul humans are actually gold-skinned (but not racially meaning they could look Chinese Black White Arab whatever and are more than just the kings….about 100 ? souls? Idk yet
GA lasted for a millennium, 1000 years.
The second wave of humans(being generic term for all peoples) were four types, Mamen (normal mammal humans), Avimen(bird humans), Lizimen (lizard humans), and Merimen (fish humans). Although they are different, their differences are few, basically there hair and teeth are different. Merrmen can swim really good and breathe for hours underwater, Lizimen are immune to fire but very weak in cold climes, Avimens have really cool multicolor featherlike hair but do not have wings and cannot fly but fair better at higher climes, and mamans are just humans. They can interbreed but, after years of fighting, Mamans become the dominant race (apart from the merimen who live in underwater communities have little to do with the story). The Avimen and Lizzimen are almost completely phased out with only a very few purebloods surviving. Once cross human interbreeding occurs, if a person is 75 percent or more of one human species, they basically lose their other human aspects and become whatever is dominant. So after most of the Avimen and Lizzimen were destroyed in wars, the rest just interbred the fuck out of their other aspects. Lizzimen are extremely rare while Avimen still have a little presents. During the present story, Humans means Mamans, since they compose the majority of humans. Anyway…
OK The next age was the Silver Age, or the Old kingdoms. Each kingdom was ruled by one of the Golden Humans within the Holy Cities. Peace was kept for almost a millenium before the population grew once again. This time, Warlords came into being and many wars were fought. To make matter even more bizzare, the Shiny Ones had enough of being Watchers, moved there home from the sky island to an actual island, known as Lushina. The SO’s had become changed after years of watching and sometimes interfering with the humans and now decided to have some fun. Considering themselves above the humans, they did not care about human affairs too much and just basically fucked around ala Greek type gods and goddess or the other various pantheons of actual mythological dieties.
And when I say fuck around, I mean they literally fucked around with humans. Three became males and the other three became females and they created crowns known as Halo’s to suppress their immense starfire and created weopons out of the horns of the Abyssal Horns...horns, six of the most powerful weapons ever created.
At first, they became minimally involved in politics and left governing to the Golden Kings, but with the advent of war, they allowed their vast magik powers to be used by a select group of people through the sacred language of the Shimeru (basically magik spells by good witches and wizards) unfortunatly, the spells were not always approved by the Shimeru themselves and merely used their vast starfire or Higher Breathe as a wellspring to perform certain spells. Either way, the Order of the Star Gazers became the main religious order and was commonly associated with the Good, as apposed to the Demke Magik, which was commonly associated with Evil. Of course, not so black and white. (this is not star wars).
The things changed forever when the offspring of the Shimeru known as the Anashaura, who were sometimes incredibly powerful beings themselves, started to make war and became powerful Warlords who were immune to the power of the holy cities Astral Crystals. The Shimeru fucked around so much that they created hundreds of these semidivine half-shimeru’s and continued to do so after seeing the problems that was being created because they were fucking irresponsible idiots.
It became so bad that the Anashura’s even started to make war against their parents, the New Gods of the world and even were able to make an attack on Lushina in one of the most pivitol wars of the entire history, the War of the Starbourne. The Shimeru had to eliminate their own offspring in order to contain some balance in the world and sent them down to the pyrimid of the underworld, now guarded by (iforgot which one).
DB After that came the so -called bronze age, more commonly known as the Descent Back, when the Shimeru became less interested in the world they helped create which eventually led to them leaving it entirely to go back to their home stars. When they left, the abyssal seal was broken and more powerful Demke started to seep back into the world. The Descending Age lasted for only half a millennium and finally ended the day the Shimeru Left forever.

Centaur half Donkey- Jack, technically a mule-
down below as the five others rushed in and inflamed the entire abyss with Luz like power, enervating all of the monsters and even thinking they had one, matter could not be destroyed but only changed and the Old ones found new bodies as the Five Horns circled the abyss changing but not being destroyed.

Changes
don’t overcomplicate things with names or what a thing is (ahura, demon, angel, dievon, it doesn’t really matter) nobody needs to know the origins unless its pertinent.

When the SO abandoned the world to return to there home stars the world greatly changed. Their powers lessen the closer they move away to their stars (a journey that takes 8888...alot of time...don’t have time frame._)

Neb Lula Lan is her name...Lula for short.
Of course Chester...but I know his story.

Ahurna are synonymous with Angels and just as the Old Gods (the five Horns) are known all as Devons or Deamons along with the beings of the lower Flame.

Centaur half Donkey- Jack, technically a mule-
down below as the five others rushed in and inflamed the entire abyss with Luz like power, enervating all of the monsters and even thinking they had one, matter could not be destroyed but only changed and the Old ones found new bodies as the Five Horns circled the abyss changing but not being destroyed.World Events and dates

Quarter vs district
Bottom District- poorest district near the south docks, least guard presence
High District- newly developed Rancor Quarter, home of the twenty putochrats and there main business buildings
town square- safe center of the town always busy with adjacent quarters of businesses and other buildings-business districts
outside ring of the business district Ring Street- toward both the bottom and high districts, the two docks

The Redlight district is a street adjecent to bottom street in the Bottom district. Has more wide variety and less restrictions, making it a destination for the more adventurous but is more dangerous.
Ass end, the poorest and most outer part of the Bottom district, where the worst live, near the south docks. Shady and full of gangs.

He is the judge, jury and executioner. Crimes are prosecuted according to what Galonius sees fit, with leniency on connected people and more hardline toward the commoners and serfs. Major crimes are murder, rape, major theft, desecration of property, hangable offenses. Minor offenses by commoners can be commuted if they choose to work off there time as indentured servants to the landed aristocracy. Serfs who commit minor crimes are usually beaten and given less freedom and more work since they technically have no rights while under contract, they are punished for maximum efficiency. Of the twelve detectives, five are known to be righteous and incorruptible as they are from the higher class and take pride in the work of justice, the other 7 work under the direction of there vassalage.
Committing crimes in Adioh can be a very dangerous thing for commoners and the low classes, as they will have no one to protect them. Crimes committed by the connected are usually a slap on the wrist or thrown out or even framed on others.
Adioh does not have the same principles of the (six kingdoms) which all have there own sense of justice, classes, virtues, and such.
The black market and criminal underground is a big part of the free city and goes hand in hand with the “official” businesses of the the 20 families. Overall, Adioh is functions in a way that goes against the rest of the world.
Water crops- the rain floods the farmland to the southeast as the river Verde overfloods. The water crops are special crops that grow in this environment and have been cultivated by the people in this area of the world exceptionally well. Plump fruits and vegatables will sprout for most of the year in this warm part of the world as long as the rain comes, and Adioh is always raining. It is a booming business. Much of the lands in the south east are farmlands and the river has been diverted through an offshoot to purposely create more spread of the ever vital water. (1000 acres?) and plantations.
Another byproduct of the flooding is other plants that thrive in the environment but are currently unable to be cultivated. The Direroot and Purplestar are two plants that are sought after by the underworld as they can be used to produce incredible intoxicants. Illegal throughout the realm, the 20 families work together with the underworld bosses to collect these clandestinely and get paid bribes, caring about the profit. The illegal plants are then go through a chemical (alchemecal process, distillation) by experts and sold. The underworld bosses are protected, but possession of the drugs is a very serious offense. The six kingdoms are unaware of where these drugs are produced.

Holy Church of Libera is the defacto Church and religion in Libera. Belief in one true good God and another Higher Realm of Paradise. Founded by the Prophet 2000 years ago, Thera the True, the first to commune with the Angelic spirits and bring forth the true cosmology, casting all religions as heretical and false. Thera did not claim the other religions to be evil and never suggested the demonisation and obliteration of the other mostly pegan faiths, he urged people to renounce the other superstitions for the truth. He was the first to be able to commune with the angelic forces and imparted the rituals necessary for future generations, creating a secret sect within the church, the Theradian Order of Sacred Crucibles. However, the heirarchy of the Church is rather more complex and the Crucibles are not at the top, even though they have some autonomy to perform their duties.
As for the other religions, the Church did go and cleanse the lands of the false believers creating the six kingdoms of Libera. Each kingdom has its own Church and culture, but all have the same basic beliefs and have the Theradian Order at there disposal.
(in this case, the cosmology espoused is really correct and does explain how the world actually is and what monsters are.)
The one true God is Genyoush and created the earth and other beings such as angels, higher spirits who act as his eyes, ears, hands, and mouth along with performing other godly duties (they have no free will and act only according to gods will making them just avatars of sorts) and fairy’s, guardians of sacred springs and groves on earth.
In the beginning, Genyoush was part of everything, part of a singularity of all called Panthentis. Panthentis yearned to divide and create and created the universe by creating from the almost infinitude of its being, not creating out of nothing but from the wellspring of itself fashioning the earth and stars.
But, even though Panthentis was still everything, he also was seperate at the same time. Even now, everything within the universe is just an aspect of Panthentis, all parts of one whole, but Panthentis changed through this division.
Than, Panthentis could not continue his work as he was at odds as opposites existed within himself that could not be reconsiled so he split his most vital essence and cut out the dark evil force and seperated it. Panthentis no longer existed as an entity after that, even though it is well established that everything is Panthentis as a whole and the parts are parts of the that one true source.
When the evil force left, Genyous awakened as the good true God and no longer split further. He used the already established chaotic immoral world of spirit and matter to form his angels and created order on earth and in the spheres. He created life on earth, animals and plants, and sacred places. He fashioned new spirits with free will to guard his new world.
However, when Genyous was split, the evil force took on form and became Conteraz, a wicked offspring of ill-intentions who was a mad antiGod with little intelligence except for chaos and destruction. Genyous was the true God and used all his power to contain Conteraz, but realized in order to exist, Contaraz also had to exist. He could not be destroyed, for light only exists because darkness exists.
Contaraz could not create however and could not corrupt the angels and fairy’s, but the life on earth was corruptible, and so death existed and cruelty.
Genyous saw that it was still good and that he was not done. Contaraz would exist and do his worst, however he could not change the very nature of the universe since Panthetis spread itself around. Genyous was not all powerful and omniscient, he existed in the realm that existed and could only use what existed to create. He was by far the most powerful, and had his loyal minions and created a heaven realm apart from the earth for the good to exist. Contaraz was an evil force, evil intention, while Genyous was good force and good intention. The world responded one way or another, but with Genyous’s intelligence and power of creation his influence was greater and he was the only true God, while contaraz was something else, a minor offspring of a God.
It was when Humans were created, the final foretold act of creation for Genyous and the most interesting. Humans were matter like animals and plants however they possessed a spirit, a soul, and held intelligence akin to the angels and fairy’s. His final creation was his greatest artwork, of the world but capable of enormous variability and ingenuity.
Unfortunately, they were also very susceptible to the evil force and Contaraz’s influence. As the humans grew and populated the earth in dominance, many were good most were in the middle, but a few went totally evil. The Taboo comandments according to Genyous were imparted and spread to the humans. They were known even before Thera, but he made wrote it down in details. According to the commandments, a human who commits one of the Taboo’s would become an abomination, lose his/her soul, and walk the world as a monster. Contaraz would feast on their souls. The monsters that exist in the world are humans who have committed the taboos and have become abominations, cause grief and havoc throughout the world. Its a rare occurrence for a human to lose its soul but when they do they become monsters.
